Growing up I was blessed to be raised by both my parents who were immigrants from Jamaica. My Jamaican culture was always present, but there was so much more to uncover. I wanted to make real change but didn’t know where to start. Over time, a path and vision were laid out to me and my focus of late has been developing the minds of our youth. I saw the need for an Afrocentric education outside of western school systems. I wanted to create something our youth would love. I started writing and creating images. After writing my first book, I realized that the adults loved it more than the kids, they need it just much. This year I directed my first youth camp, self-published two books and working on a literacy & trades program. I am beyond blessed and beyond amazed to see the impact this new series has already had. Thank you for your support.
